I am leasing my truck on to a trucking company running under their name. They said to send them my ein number. when i apply for an ein it ask for my business name 'llc' . i don't have a business name just need the ein. Is it possible to get an ein without a business name? and what to i mark in the box that ask for the business name? thanks

Two many authorities all trying to all get a cut if you can actually wade through this bullshit and even make a profit. Corporations and politicians and activists did this to kill small businesses which don’t make enough money to satisfy the government vampires and typically don’t like obtrusive government regulations. What is better for a single member llc, to member manage or manage management? I'm in Va and we aren't required to have a operating aggreement. When I went to the bank to open a account, the rep said I should be member manage. I'm confused 😕

Here's the problem I have, which I haven't come across a solution to yet after searching for a while: First off, [I DID] discover in my searching that it was said it's best to have a bank account for your LLC DBA that is separate from the main LLC bank account. However, when conducting business with the LLC DBA, who do customers - clients - contractors - etc., pay when it comes to products and services? For example, I have a book publishing LLC I established a few months ago and I want to set up a DBA to function as a specific imprint of the main LLC to sell novels online through outlets such as Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, Barnes & Noble, or Google Books. When one of those outlets pays my company for its cut of the sales generated from customer purchases, who would they pay? The main LLC, the DBA, or the LLC DBA? Or let's say customers are buying direct from me instead of going through an online retailer: for payment processing, would their purchases be made payable to the main LLC, the DBA, or the LLC DBA? Same as with signing contracts or paying bills --- would I have contracts drafted and signed on behalf of the main LLC, the DBA, or the LLC DBA? What about financing? I am starting to build business credit for later business financing, but it is under the main LLC only, which I then want to use to fund the eventual DBA imprint under the main LLC. If I'm supposed to have a separate bank account for the DBA under the main LLC, is the DBA supposed to also have its own separate business financing/credit? I ask this because I have not come across any content creators who speak to how these things are handled when an LLC sets up a DBA. There are plenty of videos on UA-cam that talk about when to get a DBA for an LLC, what factors to consider, things like that, but not the aforementioned of what I detailed. Ome thing I don't understand about S-corp is, can I maintain a savings account to invest into this business or a different business, or does all the money have to be spent? Because that's what's always addressed in videos, that s corp requires you take a salary and distributions, but no one talks about maintaining any amount in case of a rainy day ot something similar.

I have spent 170 dollars trying to get some writing copy written and I am at the end of my rope. Took all images out. Sent titles and story all separated on digital files. Followed the instruction explicitly and now cases are closed. What can I expect? Can't find any indication of acceptance or rejection. Seriously considering going to a professional copy-write service.
